Mike Imber Works Closely With Reality Kings On Concepts

Mike Imber is well-known for his manager role for the street fighter turn mainstream boxer Kimbo Slice. Many do not know that for years Imber worked to the also well known adult company Reality Kings on many of their sub-sites such as MoneyTalks, InTheVIP and VipCrew. In the beginning he was involved in coming up with the concepts for these sites. Imber explains, “I was part of the team that came up with the concepts and helped in the execution of those concepts.”

Now, that sounds like a fun job right? I am sure many of you are wondering if he is even still involved with Reality Kings and the concept team these days. Especially since Kimbo’s career has really taken off in the last two years. To your surprise he is still very much involved and has a different role nowadays. Imber still maintains the sites and even makes sure that he finds the “best looking” models to be featured on the sites.

Mike Imber also, known as “Icey” and Kimbo Slice’s manager/promoter & friend talked about Kimbo Slice’s career and where he sees his friend in 2 years. Obviously, he spoke very highly of his client, but you can tell he’s quite genuine in his comments and really is looking after Kimbo Slice‘s best interests. He mentioned that he sees Slice becoming a better, professional boxer in the course of two years. He hopes that with extensive training he’ll eventually land a “big fat with a big name.” Icey Mike Imber is not naive as he mentioned that it is something that takes a lot of focus and determination but believes that it is in reach.

Kimbo Slice’s manager also, believes that we might be seeing much more of Kimbo Slice in Hollywood as he has already made a few appearances on films and television. His latest and biggest movie role is in The Scorpion King: Battle for Redemption which, will be released on January 17, 2012 on DVD. Mike Imber says he’s teamed up with Kevin Connelly (Actor & Director, best known for his series “Entourage” on HBO) and have been talking and developing Kimbo Slice’s life story and hope to make it a theatrical release! That would be so very awesome. Kimbo Slice is like the Bruce Lee in Street Fighting and there’s so many fragments of his life that really should be told in a nicely scripted biopic. We sure hope that Icey Mike Imber makes this a reality, fans would be truly “bursting with fruit flavor!“

Kimbo Slice Beats Brian Green In Professonal Heavy Weight Boxing Match

For those of you who thought Kimbo Slice was going to loose to the younger, better trained- Brian Green, well, he sure showed you guys! And for all of you her were Team Kimbo all the way- “you know what’s up…” True Brian Green may be younger and may have more training than Slice but the fact of the matter is that training cannot defeat natural born talent which is what Kimbo Slice has. Mike Imber, his best friend, manager and promoter detected this from early on and hooked him up with training to get some technique, but he raw talent was already there and just had to be refined.

Kimbo Slice sure trained like a mad man before entering the ring with Brian Green, he knew he was not going to be a piece of cake opponent. But as he centered himself, became focused and determined when he entered that ring on his the heavy weight, boxing match he was more than determined to win. He had another agenda, which was promoting Autism Awareness through his success and he did it.

Mike Imber and Kimbo Slice donated to the Autism Society the boxing gloves he wore when he defeated Brian Green. They both also, donated an undisclosed sum of money for the cause. Kimbo Slice’s youngest son was diagnosed with this disorder that affects thousands of children every year which pushes him even more to go above and beyond to be successful and be able to give back to causes and charities that he cares for.

Icey Mike Imber & Kimbo Slice go back a long way. Their union all began as they were high school friends. They both managed to stay in touch and after Kimbo Slice left college and began working at strip club as a bouncer he ran into long time pal who offered him a job as a bodyguard. He worked for him for awhile and soon after the back yard brawls began and they were video taped and put on YouTube. Kimbo Slice saturated the world wide net with his grotesque, street fighting style brawls in back yards and became some kind of a hero for all the underground street fighting aficionados.

The close network- “Team Kimbo,” which includes Kimbo Slice himself, his manager and long time friend, Icey Mike Imber and their entourage that proudly calls themselves “Team Kimbo” are all in Miami as Kimbo Slice trains and gets prepared for his upcoming fight on February 11, 2012 with opponent Robert Bruce. He’s being trained by John David Jackson- he’s a Colorado native that is one of the most respected and sought after trainers in the entire country. Needless to say, Kimbo Slice is being trained by the very best right in his hometown of Miami.

In just one month his next fight will take place in Springfield, Missouri at the O’Reilly Center. You better bet your ass, that the whole entire Team Kimbo from Miami will follow Slice all the way to Missouri as he embarks in his 4th professional, heavy weight boxing match. Icey Mike Imber and all his pals from Miami and Team Kimbo will be there rooting for him as he comes face to face to his toughest match ever. Mike Imber, also, well known as “Icey” and long time, school friend of street fighter now professional, heavy weight boxer: Kimbo Slice has been a very busy fellow as of lately. Not only is he diligently managing Kimbo’s career which includes an upcoming fight which will take place on February 11, 2012 in which Kimbo Slice, Mike Imber, Team Kimbo and his rad ass trainer: John David Jackson are working super hard on as they get prepared for this match. But if that alone was not enough, Kimbo Slice‘s big movie role debut, The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption will be released on DVD two days from today on January 12, 2012!

Fans of the killer, fighting machine are anticipating this release as the movie promises action packed fighting scenes and battles. The duo also, have taken upon themselves a very noble act of raising awareness on Autism, a disorder that affects at least one child out of 110. They hope to raise awareness to a younger demographic as well, as the Urban/Hip Hop Culture. Mike Imber is engaged in varies charities, but as of lately the awareness and fight against Autism is on the front line. Both parties are very enthusiastic about being advocates on this disorder that affects innocent children and their loved ones.
